Ian Sisson receives official offer - May 1, 2007 After returning home from competition at the King James Shooting Stars Classic held in Akron, OH, Coach Womble was contacted by Hillsdale College inquiring about Ian Sisson. Word of an official offer was quickly passed along to Ian and his parents who have since been in contact with Hillsdale College to confirm the news. Hillsdale head coach, John Tharp, said, "We had a chance to see him play in Akron and absolutely fell in love with his game." Hillsdale College, located in Hillsdale, MI, is a DII school in the GLIAC conference. They are a liberal arts college with a long history of academic excellence. Congratulations, Ian!

Michigan Select wins a showdown in Motown! - April 15, 2007 The Michigan Select Basketball Club took the 2007 Motown Showdown U17 championship by beating the Michigan Mustangs 77-59. Throughout their 7-0 run in the Oakland University hosted event, Michigan Select players demonstrated hard work and team play, showing that they are a team to watch.
